TREATMENT COORDINATOR SERVICES

After your appointment, should you need extra information and/or support regarding the treatments recommended by your dentist, our knowledgeable and empathetic Treatment Coordinators will happily spend time going through your plan and any concerns with you

If yes, good news, you may be entitled to a PRSI discount off your dental exam and hygienist appointment.

If you’d like to check before booking your appointment, simply call us on 01 454 2022 or email info@portobellodental.com and provide us with your PPS number.

All eligible patients will be entitled to a PRSI discount one a year!

If you wish to pay and claim back your treatment from your insurance company, we can help you with the paperwork. We keep most of the major insurance company forms on file.

If you have a VHI Direct Dental Policy – simply let them know prior to your appointment, that you are coming to us for treatment – they will notify us if you are covered for your initial appointment and hygienist visit.

For any subsequent visits on your treatment plan, you will only have to pay the dentist for the costs of dental treatment not covered by your VHI Dental plan. (We will send your plan to VHI to see what they will cover you for). There’s no need for you to have to claim back your benefits – just sign the claim form.

Some treatments are eligible for further 20% reduction from MED II tax relief. We can help you with the paper work for this. You can claim back on your Med 2 form at the start of every year for the previous years treatments (maximum 4 years).
